Our Doctors

Bruce Robertson, DVM

Dr. Bruce Robertson received a Bachelor's Degree in biology from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1979 and went on to attend the College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 1983. Moving to Fulton after graduation, Dr. Robertson started Midwest Veterinary Clinic in 1985. His practice incorporated work with pets and farm animals until December 2004 when the clinic started treating pets only. Dr. Robertson and his wife, Carol, enjoy several dogs and cats on their family farm.

Cindy Vedder-Penrod, DVM

Dr. Penrod graduated from Northeast Missouri State University (now Truman State University) with a B.S. in Agricultural Science in 1996 and later went on to the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine where she graduated in May 2001. Since that time, she has worked as a full-time veterinarian at Midwest Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Penrod grew up in St. Louis but has family ties going back several generations in Callaway County. Dr. Penrod now lives with her family in Fulton and has several dogs and cats of her own.

Tracy Royer, DVM

Dr. Royer received a B.S. degree from the University of Missouri College of Agriculture in 1983 and graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine in 1987.  She worked at clinics in Arkansas, Georgia, and Tennessee as her husband's job led the family to various locations.  She and her husband and their two daughters moved to Fulton in 2002.  After doing relief work at Midwest Veterinary Clinic for several years, Dr. Royer started regular hours in 2011; she currently sees cleints all day on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.  Her family pets include 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a cockatiel.

Angela Humphreys, DVM

Dr. Humphreys is our newest doctor at Midwest Veterinary Clinic.  She graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013.  She had previously received her B.S. degree in Biology from Southeast Missouri State University.  Prior to her acceptance at MU, she worked at veterinary clinics in Jackson and Booneville, Missouri.  She, her husband, and 4 children take care of 4 dogs, 1 cat, a herd of cattle, several feeder pigs, and a small flock of chickens.
